Who can receive medical/sports-based massage?

Anyone! Austin has worked on a wide range of clients including:

  • Ages 18-70

  • Professional athlete to weekend warrior

  • Occupations such as computer professionals, drivers, doctors, denitists, and stay at home parents.

What we offer:

  • Full assessment including movement, history of pain or discomfort, and activities of daily living to determine the root cause of pain. 

  • Medical/sports massage session may include treatment methods such as, deep-tissue, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, triggerpoint and neuromuscular therapy.

  • Clients receive a custom treatment plan to maintain progress and avoid reinjury.

  • Austin regularly connects his clients to a preferred referral network of physical therapists and chiropractors, forming a team that can help clients heal.

  • Specialties include treating: post-surgery recovery (4-6 weeks post), scar tissue, TMJD, repetitive motion injury, headaches, plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff injuries, and thoracic outlet syndrome.

Austin Tepsic comes from Pennsylvania where received a degree in social work from Elizabethtown College. He moved to North Carolina in 2013, where he decided to return to school to pursue a career in massage therapy. He went to Gwenette College (formerly known as The Medical Arts School) in Raleigh where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA. He took advanced courses in trigger point therapy and sports massage where he excelled. He is currently pursuing his certification in neuromuscular therapy.

After working for several spas and as an independent contractor, he began doing CrossFit where he learned about Sports Massage. Austin is an adaptive athlete. His vision impairment, Stargardts Macular Degeneration makes him legally blind, but in massage and in CrossFit this doesn't hinder him. He feels it makes him more successful. He began with Myology in December of 2017 and joined SERVE in May of 2022 to lead SERVE Wellness. Austin loves helping everyone get out of pain and back to the grind!
